Angela Davis Herrington

Angela Herrington, 53, of Buena Vista, GA, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013, at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home.

Mrs. Herrington was born September 3, 1959, in Miami, FL, to Mary Blanford Mathis. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County, moving here from Miami. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Jamie Shanae Herrington.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Herrington  of Buena Vista, GA; by two sons, Damien Davis and Nicholas Davis, both of Buena Vista, GA; by a step-son, Jimmy Herrington of Columbus, GA; by a daughter, Ashley Davis (James Gray) of Buena Vista, GA; by a brother, Joseph Davis (Pamela) of Buena Vista, GA; by four sisters, Shirley Mathis of Preston, GA, Lisa Davis, Rose Mathis Terry (Alfred), and Lizzie Mathis Terry (Robert) all of Buena Vista, GA. One granddaughter, Karma Gray, of Buena Vista, GA, also survives.
