Annelle Bickerstaff

Annelle Bickerstaff, 87, of Buena Vista, GA, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at 11:30 AM at Buena Vista United Methodist Church with Reverend Owen Williams and Reverend Linda Gail Thompson officiating. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday morning before the service. The family will receive friends at The Sign of The Dove after the funeral service.

Mrs. Bickerstaff was born July 21, 1925, in Buena Vista, GA, to William Walter Greene, Sr. and Julia Holder Greene. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, William L. Bickerstaff, Sr. of Buena Vista, GA; by a son, William L. Bickerstaff, Jr. of Buena Vista, GA; by three daughters, Annelle Forester Head and husband Jim of Laverne, AL, Mary Forester Tondee and husband Terry of Ellaville, GA, and Betty Bickerstaff Perno and husband Lou of Athens, GA; by a brother, William Walter Greene and wife Suzanne of Gainsville, GA; and by 5 grandchildren, Josh Forester Head, Steven Greene Tondee and wife Mary Allen, Catherine Merritt Tondee, Kinley Christian Perno, and Collier McCoy Perno.
