Annette Layfield

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Annette Layfield, age 76, of Ellaville, GA died Tuesday morning, December 23, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1.00 PM Friday, December 26, 2008 at County Line Baptist Church. Rev. Tommy McConnell will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Gay Cemetery in Gay, GA .
Mrs. Layfield was born October 22, 1932 in Meriwether Co. the daughter of Mrs Willie Bill Baughan and Elam Arnold Baughan. She had worked at Greenfield Industries and had retired from Reliable Gas Co. and then from Ferrell Gas Co. Mrs. Layfield was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Sammy Layfield, one daughter and son in law, Sheila Shanks and Al of Waco, TX, one son and daughter in law, SSG Wadues E. (Buddy) Self and Maria of Clarksville, TN, 2 granddaughters, Mandy Richards of Albany, GA and Lauren Cotton and LJ of Cataula GA, and one great granddaughter, Sarah Richards of Albany, GA.
Visitation will be held 6:00 till 8:00 PM, December 25, 2008 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
