Aussie Jean Moore

CUSSETA, GA --- Aussie Jean Weed Moore, age 77, died peacefully at her home in Cusseta, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the Upper Cemetery in Cusseta, Georgia, with Reverend Mike Webb officiating.

Jean was born August 9, 1937, in Chattahoochee County, GA, the daughter of Ausie Samuel and Verna Mae Kemp Weed. She was a wonderful mother, “Nana,” sister and friend. She was a Christian woman who loved her Lord, church, and community. She enjoyed her flower garden and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Annette Register and Annah Mae Goodwin.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Griffin and husband Jeff of LaGrange, GA, and Jenifer Wing and husband Bobby of Smith Station, AL; two loving grandchildren, Derek Villiard and wife Christin and Emili Wing; by her sister Elaine Averett of Panama City, FL, and brother, Arthur Culpepper of Cusseta, GA, and by many nieces and nephews.
