Bessie Lee Hill

Mrs. Bessie Lee Hill, 75, of Ellaville, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 19, 2024.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Concord Methodist Church in Ellaville at 1:00PM with Rev. Gary Page officiating. Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.   

Mrs. Hill was born September 3, 1948 in Perry, Georgia to the late Henry and Lessie Mae Bodrey Green.   She was a member of Concord Methodist Church.  Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and an exceptional one. She also enjoyed working with flowers around the house.  

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Tommy Hill of Ellaville; two sons, Ray Hill of Thomaston, GA and Scottie Hill of Oglethorpe, GA; two brothers, David Green and his wife, Elaine of Roberta, GA and Cecil Green and his wife, Vernell of Butler, GA; a sister, Mary Lucas of Ft. Valley; a grandson, Charlie Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
