Betty Louise Wilson

Mrs. Betty Louise Wilson, 82, of Talbotton, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her residence. A memorial service will be held on at 2:00PM on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Geneva Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Waddell officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Lula, GA, on June 17, 1941, to Paul and Ruby Emory Saxon. Before her retirement, she was employed with Swift Mill, Eagle and Phoenix Mill, Dolly Madison and then C & W Cabinets before her retirement. Mrs. Wilson leaned on Jesus and wanted her family to know Him.  She said her family was her greatest accomplishment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron D. Wilson, by a granddaughter, Tina Wilson, and by her siblings, Mark Saxon, Lonnie Saxon, James Saxon, Gertie Paschal, Pauline Jones and by her daughter-in-law, Christy Wilson.

She is survived by a son, Aaron Daniel Wilson, Jr. of Pell City, AL; by two daughters, Miriam Cook and her husband Bert of Talbotton, GA, and Sarah Patterson and her husband Jimmy of Box Springs, GA; two brothers, David Saxon and Dennis Saxon; nine grandchildren, Trey and Allie Gainous, Tommy and Amanda Gainous, Ben Palmer, Hannah and Jacob Foster, Rebekah and Blake Everson, Nathan Cook, Colby Cook, Jesse Moritz-Harvey and Gage Harvey, and Carly and Warren Jefferson. Nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
