Mrs. Billie J. Baynor, 86, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at her residence. Funeral services will be a private burial at Oakland Church of God Cemetery with Ashton Cooke officiating.
Billie Josephine Eberts Baynor was born August 18, 1934, in Kearney, Missouri, to the late Charley and Nina Frick Eberts. Billie was an exceptionally hard worker! Sometimes holding down 3 jobs at once, she worked most of her life as a certified nursing assistant where she cared for many, many patients with dignity and respect. Later she was a private sitter for close friends that had become family. She cared for them with her whole heart and was there for them till the end. She took care of her family, raised children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and tried to instill in them the importance of family and a great work ethic! She loved her Lord and Savior and loved to listen to gospel and older country music. She loved to ride motorcycles, was known for her Pumpkin Pies and collard greens. She loved to tell the grandkids she was kin to the outlaw Jesse James. She was a card player and loved to dance. Billie was the best mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She loved her family most of all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Haywood G. Baynor Jr., one granddaughter Tina Hudson, three brothers Franklin Eberts, Jim “Pinky” Eberts and Raymond “Shorty” Eberts, and three sisters, Neoma Eberts, Lucille Williams, and Judy Clemons.
