Charles Richard Bentley

Mr. Charles Richard Bentley, 57, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Five Points Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Miller, Caleb Hall, Shorty Gibson, Jeff Tyler, Ryan Gill, and Michael Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley McAllister, Johnathan Phillips, and John Blomeyer. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 6:00-8:00PM.

Mr. Bentley was born April 23, 1962, in Columbus, GA, to Alfred C. and Carrie Nelson Bentley. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, he was perfectly happy doing whatever Jane wanted to do. Mr. Bentley retired from Lacy Paint and Body as an auto body repairman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Daniel Bentley.

He is survived by his son, Rick Bentley of Buena Vista, GA; by a brother, Emmett Bentley of Buena Vista, GA; by his mother-in-law, Frances Daniel; a niece, Carolyn Tyler and his dog, Sally.
