Charles Patten Weaver

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Charles Patten Weaver, age 80, of Ellaville, GA, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Teate will officiate. 

      Mr. Weaver was born September 6, 1932 in Toccoa, GA, the son of George Homer Weaver and Ollie Bell Weaver. He was in the logging business and a truck driver. Mr. Weaver was of the Baptist faith.

      Survivors include his wife, Mary Weaver; one son, Tony Randall Weaver of Ellaville; one daughter, Anita Faye Hearon and husband Joe of Little River, CA; and one sister, Margie Polasik and husband Joe of Waverly Hall, GA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Tonya Weaver, Olivia Weaver Hadley, Josh Weaver, Lindsey Weaver, Tiffany Weaver, Eric McClung, Ryan McClung and Jeremy Wade McClung and ten great grandchildren.

     Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
