Charles Welch

Mr. Charles Welch, 88, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, GA. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. David Chapman officiating.

Mr. Welch was born in Mississippi to Murray William and Lucile Dabbs Welch. He was a long time employee of the Marion County Road Department, having worked there for 47 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Eugene Welch, Carl Welch, Larry Welch, Tim Welch, and Bennie Welch, and by two sisters, Jackie Turner and Carolyn Stubbs.

He is survived by two sisters, Frances Daniel of Mauk, GA; and Betty Edgington (Dwight) of Xenia, IL; by two sisters-in-law, Dolly Welch and Shirley Welch, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
