Charlotte Ann Jones

ELLAVILLE, GA—Mrs. Charlotte Ann Barrett Jones, 73, passed away at her residence after a brief illness.  Funeral services will be held at County Line Baptist Church, Ellaville, GA on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mark Poole and Bro. Ray Smith officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  Pallbearers will be Dan Jones, Abel Jones, Stephen Inhulsen, Jason Jones, Richard Jones and Bill James.

Mrs. Jones was born May 24, 1942 to the late Charlie and Eunice Beavers Barrett in Macon County, GA.  She was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Ellaville for most of her life.  Mrs. Jones worked in several capacities over the years, with Southern Frozen Foods for 38 years, Greenfield Metal Products Company for 3 years and Minor Brothers Farms for 10 years before retiring.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting.   

Survivors include her husband Elton Jones of Ellaville; a son, Dan Jones and his wife, Traci of Ellaville; a daughter, Melody Edmonson and her husband, James of Ellaville; a brother, Charles Edward Barrett and his wife, Bobbye of Cobb, GA; four grandchildren, Mallory Inhulsen, Stephen Inhulsen, Ashleigh Mitchell and her husband, Ryan, and Abel Jones; and a great-grandson, Joshua Shell.
