Clara Belle Storey Johnson Woody

Richland, GA --- Mrs. Clara Belle Storey Johnson Woody, age 76, of Preston, GA, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Four County Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Richland, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery. Rev. Bryan Bentley will officiate.
Mrs. Woody was born December 4, 1934 in Webster County, GA, the daughter of Wiley (Joe) Boyette Storey and Fannie Belle Eason Storey. She was a seamstress having worked at Manhattan Shirt Factory. Mrs. Woody was a member of Preston United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Welch of Ellaville, Debra Peek and husband Kenneth of Ellaville, Pat Coffee and husband Jerry of Milledgeville, GA; two sons, Bobby Johnson and wife Kandy of Americus, GA, Andrew Boyette Johnson of Preston, GA; and two brothers, Jimmy Storey and wife Shirley of Ellaville, Ray Storey and wife Janice of Preston, GA. Mrs. Woody is also survived by ten grandchildren, Kenny Peek, Kris Peek, Kurtis Peek, Jessica Peek, Kristi Carlson, Jessica Nixon, Jerry Coffee, Joey Coffee, Robert L. Johnson and Ashley Johnson. Also surviving are twelve great grandchildren. Mrs. Woody was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert H. Johnson, Sr. and her second husband, Joe Woody.
Active pallbearers will include Kenny Peek, Kris Peek, Kurtis Peek, Jerry Coffee, Joey Coffee, Robert Johnson, and Tristan Carlson. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Four Counties Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richland, Georgia
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
