Constance Phillips

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Constance (Connie) Fox Phillips, age 87, of Ellaville, GA died Saturday September 20, 2008 at her daughter's residence in Thomaston, GA. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 22, 2008 at 3:00 PM at County Line Baptist Church, with Rev. Tommy McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Pennsylvania on October 17, 1920. She was the daughter of William and Veronica Beltz Fox. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and attended County Line Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lewis Phillips, in July 2007.

Survivors include two daughters and one son in law, Patricia Raines and husband Tom of Thomaston, GA and Diane Avret of Cartersville, GA, five granddaughters and their spouses, Kimberly Bohannon and Tommy of Carrolton, Kristie Greer and Adam of Hampton, Lari Swinny and Jeff of Cartersville, Susie Avret of Cartersville, and Rebecca King and Billy of Thomaston, GA, one grandson, Rev. Dusty Raines and Amanda of Harselle, AL. Nine great grandchildren, John Phillips and Ella Bohannon, Hunter and Jackson Greer, Jessica and Paul Swinny, Joshua and Abbiegail Raines and Ashton King and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Pallbearers will include Phillip Law, Wade Law, Dr. Brett Law, Josh Patterson, Carvis Passmore, and Larry Wall. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
