CPT (Ret.) Ronald "Ron" Elton Hinze

CPT (Ret.) Ronald “Ron” Elton Hinze, 77, of Buena Vista, GA passed away on November 26, 2021 after a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church of Buena Vista on Tuesday, November 30 2021 at 2:00PM with Rev. Harold Grimsley officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM.

CPT Hinze was born August 22, 1944 in Ft. Worth, TX to the late Elton E. and Marcella Strawn Hinze. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Buena Vista, where he served as deacon for many years. Mr. Hinze was Chairman of the Board for Kinetic Credit Union and the Marion County Development Authority. He also served on the Marion County Chamber of Commerce for many years.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Roberts Hinze of Buena Vista, GA; his sons, Andrew Burnette Hinze of Los Angeles, CA and Shane Clayton Ammons and his wife, Stephanie of Dacula, GA; five grandchildren, Emily Brae Hayter (Stephen), Grace Jennifer Ammons, Micah Clayton Ammons, Josiah Roston Ammons, and Spencer Wyatt Ammons; two brothers, Ken Hinze and his wife, Carrie and Rick Hinze and his wife, Beckie, all of Ft. Worth, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
