Mr. Curtis White, 64, of Buena Vista, GA, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mr. White was born in Marion County, GA, on October 25, 1949, to William White and Julia Porter Blue.  Curtis was reared by a loving Christian mother, who devoted her life to raising her children. He was the third of five children. He was educated in the public school system of Schley County, Georgia. He graduated from John Lewis High School, Ellaville, Georgia, where he was an outstanding basketball player. He worked for Winn Dixie Grocery Co. in Jacksonville, FL, Cabinet Shop in Ellaville, GA, and Atlanta Dairies, in Atlanta, GA. 

Mr. Curtis White was the father of five children; Theresa Alridge of Atlanta, GA, Nicholas Minter, Toney Minter (deceased) of Atlanta, GA, two daughters, Ellaville, GA. Mother; Julia P. Blue (deceased), Father, Williams White (deceased), Brother: McArthur Blue (deceased), Sisters: Bessie B. Napier of Decatur, GA, Diana Blue of Columbus, GA, Sarah Blue of East Point, GA. Grandchildren, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends. We will all cherish his memory.
