Ellaville, GA --- Mrs. Mildred Darlene Wilson Willis, age 58, of Moultrie, GA, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Webster County. Rev. Gerald Willis will officiate.
Mrs. Willis was born July 16, 1952 in Sumter County, GA, the daughter of James and Martha Nell Stewart Wilson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two son, Tim Roberts and wife Susan of Moultrie, GA, Jim Willis of Cordele, GA; one daughter, Cindy Elswick and husband Robby of Americus, GA; one brother, Anthony Shamburger and wife Amanda of Columbus, GA; three sisters, Barbara Scott and husband Webster of Columbus, GA, Pat Grier and husband Donnie of Moultrie, GA, Fannie Mae Shingles and husband Greg of Americus, GA. Mrs. Willis is also survived by eight grandchildren, Rodney Derrick Smith and wife Ashley, Devin Wade Montgomery, Dylan Roberts, Jacob Elswick, Rebecca Elswick, Ethan Elswick, Alyssa Elswick, Holly Ann Willis and one great grandchild, Wesley D. Smith. Also surviving is a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
