Mrs. Deborah Fripp Davis, 66, of Jeffersontown, KY, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Troy Fripp, Bro. C. J. Yarbrough, and Bro. Stephen Fripp officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends after the service for cake and coffee at Mrs. Deborah’s request. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews, Brian Barnhill, Corey Fripp, Elisha Fripp, Shane Fripp, Josh Mattson, Colby Rustin, C. J. Yarbrough and Pete Yarbrough.
Mrs. Davis was born in Columbus, GA, on January 15, 1958, to Claude Fripp, Jr., and Elois Miles Fripp. She was a member of Eastside Praise Church in Jeffersontown, KY. Mrs. Davis had been employed as the warehouse manager at Rev-A-Shelf before her retirement. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports. Mrs. Davis had a heart for all children and kept up with her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She liked visiting with the elderly and shopping for antiques in her spare time. Mrs. Davis was independent and preferred handling things for herself but was one hundred percent a servant to others and their needs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dean Fripp and Lancy and Sheila Fripp and by her sister Donna Kay McLaurin.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Michael Davis of Jeffersontown, KY; by a daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Jason Bauman of Jeffersontown, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Sharon Fripp of Ellaville, GA; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Jerry Franklin of Ellaville, GA, Darlene and Ray Rustin of Buena Vista, GA, and Vicki and Rufus Yarbrough of Ellaville, GA; and three grandchildren, Reese Bauman, Isabel Bauman, and John Michael Bauman. Numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
