Mrs. Diane Theodora “Teddi” Douglas, 70, of Buena Vista, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:30PM on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home with Deacon Bernie Bosse officiating. Burial will follow the service at Buena Vista Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:30PM.

Mrs. Douglas was born in New York on July 11, 1952, to Vernon and Shirley Slade Wickham. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Douglas was employed with West Central Hospital as a Registered Nurse and a home health nurse. She had also worked at The Medical Center in labor and delivery. Mrs. Douglas was very proud of being an RN and helping others. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting, quilting, and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, John Douglas of Buena Vista, GA; a daughter, Shirley Lynn Douglas (Jack Kemp) of Smiths Station, AL; two sisters, Nadeen Knesser (Paul) of New York, and Terri Wickham of Smiths Station, AL; two grandchildren, Benjamin J. Douglas and Victoria Kemp; and a nephew, Vernon Smith of Smiths Station, AL.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
