Donnie Cummings

Mr. Donnie Cummings, 75, of Box Springs, GA passed away on December 14, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.  Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 4:00 PM in Buena Vista Cemetery with Rev. Brian Litch officiating.

Mr. Cummings was born November 1, 1948 to Rayford Frank and Bernice Lewis Cummings.  He enjoyed doing roofing and metal work and was a jack of all trades.  Mr. Cummings’ true passion was driving a truck, in which he did for over 50 years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death, sisters, Janice Hanaford, LaKeeta North, and Patricia Williams; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Mr. Cummings is survived by his wife of 19 years, Maureen Cummings of Box Springs, Ga; a son, Joseph “Joey” Lewis Cummings of Columbus, GA; a step daughter, Kerri Scarborough and her husband, Jeff of Columbus, GA; a grandson, Sean Barker; a sister, Tonya Nasworthy and her husband, Wendell; nieces, Megan Sizemore and Heather Sizemore; and nephews, Paxton Arnett, Jamie Arnett, Josh North and Cody North.
