Doris Dupree Crowder

Mrs. Doris Marjorie Dupree Crowder, 81, of Ellaville, passed away on April 19, 2020 at her residence after a brief illness. Funeral services will be private.

            Mrs. Crowder was born on November 27, 1938 in Albany, Georgia to Crozier and Marjorie Cantrell Dupree.  She was a member of Ellaville Baptist Church and was very active in the Joy Club.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Crowder and two sons, David M. Crowder and Barry E. Crowder. 

            Survivors include her son, Jeffrey A. Crowder; her daughter, Nancy M. Staley; her brother, Jimmy Dupree; two sisters, Carole Gust Hill and Patty Benton; five grandchildren, Misty Dent, Alex Harbuck, Joseph Staley, Jeffrey Crowder, Jr. and Matthew Staley; nine great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Crowder, Bowen Harbuck, Denver Harbuck, Trenton Staley, Aubry Dent, Barrett Harbuck, Cameron Staley, Gabriela Staley and Blaire Harbuck; and several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Ellaville Baptist Church, PO Box 325, Ellaville, GA 31806, Perfect Care, Inc., 114 Sullivan Dr, Americus, GA 31709, or to Magnolia Manor of Americus, 2001 S. Lee St. - Americus, GA  31709.
