Doris Earline Dobbs

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Doris Earline Dobbs, age 86, of 7397 SR 228 Ellaville, GA died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Lillian Carter Health and Rehabilitation Center in Plains, GA. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 27, 2012 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home with burial to follow in County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Kinservik and Mr. Sammy Lee will officiate.

Mrs. Dobbs was born May 19, 1926 in Schley County, GA the daughter of Roy and Lynnie Holloway. She had worked at the Tog Shop. Mrs. Dobbs was a member of County Line United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Dobbs is survived by two daughters, Virginia Sewell and husband Lee of Ellaville and Marcia McClung of Ellaville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Michelle Miller and husband Mark, Regina Hunnewell and husband Todd, and Josh McClung; three great grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Zeke Miller and Tyler Hunnewell along with two nephews, Ricky Anderson and Greg Anderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dobbs was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Dobbs.

Active pallbearers will be Todd Hunnewell, Mark Miller, Ricky Anderson, Greg Anderson, Chris Holloway, Mark Royal and Jeff Rix. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Miller, Tyler Hunnewell, Zeke Miller, Cory Rix, and Rene Rix.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville. The family will be meeting at the home of Virginia and Lee Sewell, 7361 SR 228, Ellaville, GA. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to County Line United Methodist Church Building Fund, 7361 SR 228, Ellaville, GA 31806.
