Doug Welch

Mr. Douglas “Doug” Kendall Welch, 53, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will be gathered at 526 Wiggins Road, Buena Vista, GA.

Doug was born in Americus, GA, on December 11, 1968, to Horace Rainey and Rebecca Privette Welch. He was employed as a farmer with Welch Farms. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and farming. Doug loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Mary Welch, and his maternal grandmother Mary Speirs.

He is survived by his parents, Rainey and Becky Welch; by his son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Carly Welch; by his daughter Kendall Welch all of Buena Vista, GA; and by his grandchildren, Gunner, Bowen, Tucker, Maesynn, and Ember. Numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
