Earnest Hicks

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Earnest Hicks, age 64, of Ellaville, GA died early Wednesday morning, December 24, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.
Mr. Hicks was born August 17, 1944 in Winterhaven, FL, the son of Effie Marie Pate Hicks and Richard Joseph Hicks.
Survivors include one son, Leroy Hicks, two daughters and sons in law, Linda and Todd Carpenter, Sheila and Chris Jones, all of Ellaville, GA., four sisters, Viola Benner of Winchester, VA, Pearl Bryant of Jesup, GA, Evelyn Tolbert of Blackshear, GA and Inez Hicks of Florida. Six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, December 28, 2008 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
