Edna Lee Harbuck

Ms. Edna Lee Melton Harbuck, 73, of Ellaville, GA passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, May 3, 2021.  A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Shema Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Bro. Troy Fripp, Rev. David Chapman, and Mr. Desse Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Trenton Stubbs, Landon Aldridge, Matthew Dufresne, Danny Dufresne, Danny Daniels, and Bobby Barnes.  The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.

Ms. Harbuck was born November 15, 1947 in Marion County, GA to Robert Lee Melton and Hazel Augusta Harbuck Melton.  She was a collector of many things and loved spending time with her family and cooking with them.  In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and dancing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Harbuck, a great-grandson, Jakob Stubbs and a sister, Janis L. Cromer.

Survivors include her son, Keith Harbuck and his wife, Susann of Pelham, GA; her daughter, Amanda Barnes of Ellaville; six grandchildren, Christopher Goodin, Geni Leigh Dufresne (Danny), David Harbuck, Jr., Joni Daniels (Danny), Faith Harbuck, and Andy Harbuck (Robin); nine great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
