El Walter Harris

Mr. El Walter Harris, of Preston, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Graveside services will be held in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jonathan Jenkins officiating.

Mr. Harris was born December 25, 1968 in Americus, GA to Elussery and Joyce Cain Harris. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working with wood.  Mr. Harris also enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Sebron Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Kelli Harris; a son Daniel Harris (Jalacia Davis); two daughters, Mia Harris (Ben Watts) and Annie Bell Harris, all of Preston, GA; two grandchildren, Ace Harris and one on the way, Willow Watts; a brother-in-law, Earl Brown, Jr (Amber) and a father-in-law, Earl Brown, Sr. (Gayle), all of Bainbridge, GA; two sister-in-laws, Shelli Bozeman (Dean) of Butler, GA and Heather Harper of Ellaville, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
