Eugenia Battle Jarriel

       ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Eugenia Battle Jarriel, age 70, of Cheyenne, WY, previously of Ellaville, GA died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 6, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.  Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate. 

     Mrs. Battle was born May 7, 1942 in Schley County, GA the daughter of Allmon and Mary Inez McGill Powell.  She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

     Mrs. Battle is survived by two sons and two daughters in law, Rodney Battle and Rebecca Trujillo of Cheyenne, WY, Tim and Ann Battle of Ellaville; and one sister, Mary Miles of Americus, GA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Casey Battle, Lindsay Battle, Blake Battle, Kimberly Tyler, Kayla Mohler, Patrick Mohler, Richard Trujillo and wife Kellyn; two step children, Christi Tallman and Emory Jarriel; and three great grandchildren.  Mrs. Battle was preceded in death by husbands, Charlie Battle and Robert Jarriel, granddaughter, Andrea Battle, one brother and three sisters.

     Active pallbearers will include Keith Landers, Nathan Norton, Ronnie Lee Sr., Jeffery Bailey, Blake Battle, and Patrick Cobb.  Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Barfield, Colin Landers, and Ronnie Lee, Jr.

     Visitation will be held Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
