Fidel Pehid Quillope, Sr.

Mr. Fidel Quillope, Sr., 84, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00PM on Monday, April 27, 2015, in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Father Nick Mansell officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 4:00-6:00PM prior to the service.

Mr. Quillope was born April 24, 1931, in Bacolod City, Philippines, to Eleuterio and Nieves Pehid Quillope. Catholic by faith, he attended Mary Magdaline Catholic Church and had been self-employed as a driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Quillope Maligmat, two brothers, Isidro Quillope and Eleuterio Quillope, Jr., and a son-in-law Lorenzo Deroca.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Quillope, of Buena Vista, GA; by five sons, Fidel P. Quillope, Jr. (Pamela) of Phenix City, AL, Felix Quillope (Ronna) of Buena Vista, GA, Fernando Quillope (Noemi) of Singapore, Francisco Quillope (Lilia) and Ferdie Quillope, all of the Philippines; two daughters, Milady Quillope Go (Ramon) and Julie Quillope Deroca of the Philippines; a brother, Uldarico Quillope, three sisters, Rosario Hilario, Soledad Regalado and Fe Aguilar, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, Harold Maligmat and numerous nieces and nephews.
