Frank Wood Lester, III

     MONTEZUMA, GA --- Mr. Frank Wood Lester, III, age 52, of Montezuma, GA died Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Montezuma United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma.  Rev. Billy Kimbrel and Rev. Ken Myers will officiate.

      Mr. Lester was born June 11, 1960 in Montezuma, GA, the son of Angela Ferrante Lester and Frank Wood Lester, Jr.  He was employed by Ameris Bank in Ellaville, GA and was a member of the Montezuma City Council.  Mr. Lester was a member of Montezuma United Methodist Church.   

      Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Angela Lester, two daughters, Elizabeth Lester Hobbs and husband Adam of Perry, GA, and Mary Frances Lester of Montezuma.  One sister, Debbie Lester of Alpharetta, GA. also survives.

       Pallbearers will include Howard Brown, Neal Rawls, Jule Windham, Sam Lester, Randy Gregg, Greg Downs, Terry Kelley and Leonard Petroski.  Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Ameris Bank and the Montezuma City Council.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
