Frank Sarmiento

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Frank Sarmiento, age 83, of Ellaville died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.

Mr. Sarmiento was born January 12, 1929 in Tampa, FL, the son of the late Isabelle Garcia Sarmiento and Bernardo Sarmiento.  He was a carpenter and had served in the National Guard.  Mr. Sarmiento was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.  

Mr. Sarmiento is survived by his wife, Sylvia Sarmiento of Ellaville; one daughter, Lorraine Sierra and husband Albert of Ellaville; and one sister, Lilly De Diego of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Yolanda Sierra and husband Edgar Torres, Albert (Bo) Sierra, Jr. and wife Amy, Christina Sierra and husband Shannon (Buster) Evans; six great grandchildren, Destiny Torres, Jacob Sierra, Emmanuel Sierra, Madison Sierra, Joshua Rubiani Jr., Desiree Sierra; and one great great grandchild, Raygen Sierra.

Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
