Freeman Larmar Hudson

Mr. Freeman Larmar Hudson, 71, of Box Springs, GA passed away on July 2, 2022.  Graveside services will be held at County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating.  

Mr. Hudson was born April 10, 1951 in Marion County to Gordon and Kathryn Turner Hudson.  He worked for many years in the drywall industry and was a master gardener.  He could grow anything and would give away most of it and sell a little bit.  Freeman enjoyed fishing for catfish and hunting, dying Easter eggs with the kids and scratching lottery tickets.  He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Willie Hudson; two sisters, Eileen Hudson and Audrey Hudson; and a special niece, Tina Hudson.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Turner Hudson; a daughter, Tabitha Salter and her husband, Terry; two grandchildren, Ansley and Josie Salter; four brothers, Brad Hudson (Wanda), Dean Hudson (Shick), Spud Hudson (Staci,) and Barry Hudson (Shenia); two sisters, Kathy O’Hearn (Bobby,) and Bungi Harbuck (Earl); and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, who loved their Uncle “Free Free.”
