George Michael Bailey

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. George Michael Bailey, age 46 of 91 Jim Pearson Road died Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Lacrosse Road Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery. Rev. Samuel West will officiate.

Mr. Bailey was born May 27, 1962 in Sumter County, Georgia and was the son of Mary Jo Bailey and the late George Lee Bailey. Mr. Bailey worked for Georgia Pacific in Vienna and was a member of Lacrosse Road Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother, is his wife, Debra Ann Bailey; one daughter, Krystle Lynn Bailey of Ellaville; two brothers, Timothy Bailey and wife Brenda of Ellaville and Terry Bailey of Steinhatchee, FL. Mr. Bailey is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will include Tim Bailey, Justin Bailey, Blake Bailey, Terry Bailey, Chris Mathews, and Christopher Felker.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
