George Taylor Snider

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. George Taylor Snider, age 78, of Ellaville, GA died early Sunday morning, January 20, 2013 at his home.  Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at County Line Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Rev. Mark Kinservik will officiate.

     Mr. Snider was born March 10, 1934 in Schley Co. the son of Foy Hogg Snider and George S. Snider. He had worked at Champion Homes and with the City of Ellaville.  Mr. Snider was a member of County Line Methodist Church.

     Survivors include one daughter, Marsha Jean Snider of Columbus, GA, one son, William Snider and wife Tina of Harker Heights, TX, two step daughters, Sharon Carswell of Valdosta, GA and Wanda Toms of Americus, GA., one brother,
Bobby Snider of Ellaville, GA, one sister, Betty Wise and husband J.M. of Plains, GA.  Three grandchildren, Zack Snider, Jason Adams, Jonathan Simmons and several step grandchildren also survive.     

     Active pallbearers will include Richard Carswell, Jacob Carswell, Bruce Toms, Dillon Toms Donald Toms.
