Gloria June Hedden

Gloria June Hedden, 77, of Mauk, GA, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Vista Care in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2012, in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Reverend David Chapman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Buena Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.

Mrs. Hedden was born May 17, 1935, in Marion County to James and Mary Lou Barrett Robinson.  She was Baptist by faith and had been employed as a Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a son, Michael Bell and by a daughter, Kathy Weaver.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Hedden of Mauk; by two sons Roger and Vicki Bell of Buena Vista, GA, and Donnie Bell and his companion Mona Studdard of Clearwater, FL; by a daughter, Brenda Vartenesian of Macon, GA; by two brothers, Jimmy and Dorothy Robinson and Jerry Robinson, all of Bremen; by seven sisters, Mary Anne Peters, Doris and Dewey Carter, Jr., Christine Johnson, Lera Dent, Linda  and Roy Dukes, all of Buena Vista, GA,Vera Sanders of Phenix City, AL, and Wanda and Bobby Davenport of Dublin, GA. 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these arrangements.
