Hank Field

Mr. Henry “Hank” Evans Field, 57, of Cusseta passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Cusseta First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mark Dixon and Chaplain David Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service at Harmony Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Buena Vista on Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Brad Ashberry, Jamie Gatlin, Mickey McKinnon, Ben Brooks, Florenzo Jones, Rob Pfouts, Gray Jones and Travis Rhodes.

Mr. Field was born November 27, 1965 in Wilmington, DE to Ferris and Muriel Field.  He was a member of Cusseta First Baptist Church.  Mr. Field was a Master Diesel Mechanic with Yancey Brothers Caterpillar out of Albany, GA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and assembling car and truck models.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Field of Cusseta, GA; three children, Clayton Field (Mary) of Resaca, GA, Kaitlynn Long (Chris Delph) of Cusseta, GA, and Kacie Register (TSgt Paul) of Eagle River, AK; a brother, Brian Field (Debbie) of Foosland, IL and a sister, Penny Beigh (Ricky) of N. Ft. Myers, FL; four grandchildren, Hank Field, Georgia Field, Brayden Merritt, and Hoyt Field; and a host of nieces and nephews.
