Harry William Hummel

Mr. Harry William Hummel, 91, of Ellaville, passed away after an extended illness on October 24, 2024. Services will be held in Northumberland, PA at a later time with burial in Riverview Cemetery. 

Mr. Hummel was born on August 3, 1933, in Northumberland, PA to Harry H. and Carrie Mull Hummel. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked for the FBI before working with Chef Boyardee until his retirement. Mr. Hummel enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques, and he also loved going to the casino. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan as well as the Penn State Nittany Lions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Hummel.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Holt and her husband, Jay of Ellaville, GA; three grandchildren, John Moyle and his wife, Bahar of Richmond Hill, GA, Carrie Brantley and her husband, Jim of Ellaville, GA, and Jacob Moyle of Ellaville, GA; a great-granddaughter, Kayla Moyle of Americus; and a great-great-granddaughter, Haley.
