Henry L. Roach

Mr. Henry Lynn Roach, 74, of Ellaville, GA, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:30 – 12:00PM.

     Mr. Roach was born July 23, 1944 in Americus, GA to the late Homer and Myrtle Roach.  He was retired from AT & T.  Mr. Roach served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After leaving the Navy, he served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 191. Mr. Roach would help anyone and was a friend to anyone.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and making jewelry out of wood and antlers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Roach was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Roach.

     Survivors include his two children, David Roach (Kristin) of Uncasville, CT and Heather Billings (Evester) of Rome, GA; brothers, Homer Roach of Albany, GA, Steve Roach of Americus, GA and Howard Harbuck of Tifton, GA; two grandchildren, Leeann Roach and Harrison Billings.
