Horace L. Cole

Mr. Horace Lynn Cole, 69, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away June 20, 2015, at Bay Medical Center, Panama City, FL.

He was born in Pontotoc County, MS, to Eugene (Gene) Russell and Gertrude (Gert) Cole on March 6, 1946.  Horace graduated from Hueytown High School, Hueytown, AL, completed Bachelor’s Degree at Chaminaee University of Honolulu, HI and served in the United States Army for twenty-one years, retiring at Ft. Benning, GA.

Survivors include his domestic partner, Roberta Hawkins of Panama City Beach, FL, one brother, Norris Gene Cole, Sr. and wife Kathy of Orange Beach, AL, one sister, Barbara Gail (Cole) Kendrick and husband, Danny, of Hueytown, AL, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Family will receive friends at Watson-Tante Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, GA, 31803, June 24, 2015, from 11:00AM to 11:30AM. Graveside service will be at 1:00PM at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Highway 165, Fort Mitchell, AL, 36856.
