Hugh C. Hasty, Jr.

Mr. Hugh C. Hasty, Jr., 77, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Canterbury Health Center in Phenix City, AL. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Hasty was born in Muscogee County, GA, on March 20, 1947, to Hugh C. Hasty, Sr. and Mary Lois Frost Hasty. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Mr. Hasty loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Thomas and a brother, Victor Trout.

He is survived by his sister, Jackie H. Goolsby; by two nieces, Karen Goolsby and Dawn Fugatt and their families; by his brother-in-law, Terry Hudson; by his good friends Jason Johnson and Ralph Moreheart and by several nieces and nephews.
