Hunter Boysen Jones

Mr. Hunter Boysen Jones, 68, of Mauk, GA, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at his residence. Services will be held at a later time.

 Mr. Jones was born December 25, 1955, in Beaumont, TX. He moved to the Mauk area in 1975 and began working in the chicken industry, before starting his own trucking company, Hunter B. Jones Trucking, where he worked alongside his wife and son for over 30 years. Mr. Jones enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Vivianne Boysen Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Meredith Jones of Mauk, GA; a son, Jeremy Hunter Jones and his wife, Donna of Mauk, GA; a daughter, Angela Donahey and her husband, Victor of Madison, CT; six grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Hunter Donahey, Kathryn Donahey, Jordan Castrogiovanni (Danny), Owen Donahey, and Livianne Jones.

 Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
