Jack Bailey

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Jack Allen Bailey, age 61 of 6875 Lacrosse Road died Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Lacrosse Road Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery. Rev. Samuel West will officiate.
Mr. Bailey was born April 7, 1948 in Baldwin County, Alabama and was the son of Clyde and Floyde Justice Bailey. Mr. Bailey worked as a truck driver and was a member of Lacrosse Road Baptist Church. He was also a disabled veteran, having served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, La Trelle Bailey; three sons, Jeffrey Bailey and wife Vicki of Americus, Chris Bailey and wife Deanna of Ellaville, Kevin Bailey and wife Sabrina of Ellaville; four brothers, Phil Bailey and wife Annette of Ellaville, Billy Joe Bailey and wife Judy of Ellaville, James Bailey and wife Karen of Americus, Lamar Bailey and wife Donna of Ellaville; one sister, Jeanette Kennedy and husband Earl of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Bailey is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jessica Laree Bailey, Andrew Dylan Bailey, Hannah LeAnn Bailey, Erika Lea Bailey, Brandan Allen Bailey, Destiny Erin Bailey and Alexis Breanna Bailey.
Active pallbearers will include Kevin Bailey, Chris Bailey, Jeffrey Bailey, Dylan Bailey, Gary Bailey and Joey Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers and sister.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 1, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
