Jacqueline Albritton Fitzwater

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Jacqueline Albritton Fitzwater, age 64, of 107 Bryant Rd., Cordele, GA died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at1:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2011 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral home with burial to follow in the Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Phil Streetman will officiate.
Mrs. Fitzwater was born December 15, 1946 in Taylor County, Georgia, the daughter of Edgar Lee Albritton and Edna Earl Stringfield Albritton. She was a school cafeteria manager, member of Lake Blackshear Baptist Church, the VFW and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Jacob Fitzwater; two daughters and son in law, Barbara Faye and Brian Fennell of Arabi, GA, Veronica Ann Price of Cordele, GA; one son and daughter in law, Robert and Renee Walton of Atlanta, GA; five sisters and brothers in law, Tammy and Joey Barnes of Ideal, GA, Nancy and Virgil Howell of Ellaville, Janice and Mike Wetsch of Albany, GA, Donna and Lamar Bailey of Ellaville, and Mitzi Berry of Ellaville, GA. Mrs. Fitzwater is also survived by ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Fitzwater was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Lee Sawyer.
Active pallbearers will be Joe Tyson, Scott Nichols, Jimmy Yarbrough, Tommy Howell, Ryan Barnes, and Ronnie Hall. Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Price.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville. The family will also receive friends at 6911 Lacrosse Road, Ellaville, GA.
