James A. "Pete" Fountain

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. James A. (Pete) Fountain, age 69, of Ellaville, GA died Sunday, July 13, 2014.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the chapel of Watson Giddens Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery.  Rev. Bryan Bentley will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Mr. Fountain was born january 17, 1945 in Crisp County, GA, the son of James Fountain and Neta Fountain.  He was a paint contractor.      

Survivors include one daughter, Cyndi Shaw and husband Gerald of Ellaville; two sons, James Fountain and wife Brenda of Ellaville, Benny Joe Fountain and wife Lacy of Ellaville; special niece, Tracy Jones and her son Kahlem.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fountain was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Fountain and Charles Earl Fountain.
