Linton Harbuck

Mr. James Linton Harbuck, 63, of Ellaville, GA, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at his residence.  Graveside services will be held at Ellaville City Cemetery on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2:00PM. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00AM-1:00PM before the graveside service.

Mr. Harbuck was born September 28, 1958, in Americus, GA, to James Curtis Harbuck, Jr. and Doraine Halstead Harbuck.  He was employed as a painter with T & R Custom Builders.  At 16 years of age, he began his painting career at King’s Custom Builders where he worked for about 30 years before transferring to Triple A and finally T & R.  He enjoyed working and some say that was his hobby.  Mr. Harbuck had a sense of humor. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his father, James Curtis Harbuck, Jr., by his wife, Jean Moates Harbuck, by a brother, Stout Harbuck, and a sister, Julie Bellew.

He is survived by his mother, Doraine Harbuck of Ellaville, GA; a son, Scooter and Nikki Jenkins of Cobb, GA; three brothers, Butch and Mary Harbuck of Waynesboro, GA, Bryan Harbuck of Waycross, GA, and Lee Flakes of Ellaville, GA; three grandchildren, Destiny and Ryan Ragsdale, Trinity Jenkins, and Briana Jenkins; two great-grandchildren, Camden Ragsdale and Brinley Shaw;  and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
