James Lusby

Mr. James Lusby, 79, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. Services will be private.

Mr. Lusby was born November 25, 1941, in Washinton, DC, to Francis and Hattie Smith Lusby. He served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam.  Mr. Lusby was a man of God. Jesus and church meant everything to him. He enjoyed fishing and camping.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Varnell.

He is survived by his niece, Angela Schonce (Jesse Addis) and his nephew, Nathaniel Webb (Danielle); by his brother-in-law, Rocky Varnell; and by great nieces and nephews, Christina Martin, Bonnie Addis, Ashley Webb, Nathaniel Webb, Jr., Summer Webb, and Nicki Webb.
