James Robert Icard

Mr. James Robert Icard, 68, of Buena Vista, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Laurel Hill, FL.  Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. David Chapman officiating.

Mr. Icard was born in Marion County on August 31, 1950 to the late L.J. Icard, Jr. and Virginia Wells Icard Burnette.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He worked as a carpenter for many years before retiring. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Sandra Jo Turner, Cathy Ann Woodall and Virginia Ellen Pennington. 

Survivors include his brother, Ken Icard and his wife, Mary of Mauk, GA; two sisters, Eileen Kidd and her husband Ronnie of Ellaville, GA and Mary Lou Smith of Buena Vista, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
