Jeanette Sterrette

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Jeanette Sterrette, age 74, of Americus, GA died Thursday morning, October 28, 2010 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Macon County. Rev. Ralph Price and Rev. Joy Wilson will officiate.
Mrs. Sterrette was born February 5, 1936 in Macon County, GA. She was the daughter of Hattie Philmon Howell and Bordiekah Howell. Mrs. Sterrette was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Americus, GA.
Survivors include one son, Roger Sterrette of Americus, GA; two daughters, Janice Standridge and Donna Sue Gillespie of Horse Cave, KY; three brothers, Clark Howell, Sr. and wife Wynell of Cordele, GA, Randy Howell and wife Sydney of Hodges, SC, Jackie Howell and wife Linda of Ellaville. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Charles Earl Gillispie, William Benjamin Standridge, Joseph Standridge Jr, Jason Standridge, Janice Marie Standridge and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
