Jerry Toomey

Mr. Jerry Toomey, 60, of Mauk, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his residence. A graveside memorial service will be held on at 2:00PM on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Brown Springs Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Josh Toomey officiating.
 
Mr. Toomey was born in Buena Vista, GA, on December 12, 1960, to Glen and Delores Ann Youngblood Toomey. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed fishing, throwing horseshoes, and spending time with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
He is survived by his four siblings, Michael and Catherine Toomey of Crawfordville, FL; Lisa and Ernie Weaver of Box Springs, GA; Tim and Jeanette Toomey of Meansville, GA; and Chris and Connie Toomey of Tazewell, GA; his uncle, Johnny and Inez Youngblood; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
