John Julian “Padro” Hale, 68, of Mauk, GA, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30PM on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Oakland Church of God with Reverend Jeff Morrow and Reverend A. R. Curlee officiating. Burial will follow the service in Oakland Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening in the Chapel from 6-8 PM.
Mr. Hale was born March 19, 1945, in Juniper, GA, to John William and Minnie Rigsby Hale. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County and was employed in mobile home manufacturing as a roofer. He loved Alabama Football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Hale Plonski, a brother, James “Tuck” Hale and by 2 grandchildren, Faith Lewis and Nicholas Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Lovie Hale of Mauk, GA; by a son, Michael Mathis of Alabama; by three daughters, Lisa Fousek of DeLand, FL, Anita and Danny Lewis of Mauk, GA, and Angela and Andy Catrett of Box Springs, GA; by 6 Grandchildren, Robert Fousek, Robby Lewis, Courtney Rampley, Michael Mathis, Jr., Haley Catrett and Abby Catrett, 11 Great-Grandchildren; by a nephew, Jamie Hale of Columbus, GA; and 2 nieces, Antoinette Brady of Mauk, GA, and Angela Chilson of Columbus, GA.
