John Stafford Rush

John Stafford Rush, 45, of Columbus, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Columbus, GA.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Brantley United Methodist Church with Reverend David Chapman officiating.

Mr. Rush was born July 18, 1967, in Columbus, to James Carroll Rush, Sr. and Ruth Miller Rush. Methodist by faith, he attended Brantley United Methodist Church. He was self-employed as a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Rush of Buena Vista, GA; by his long time companion, Allisha Rush of Columbus, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim & Connie Rush of Buena Vista, GA; by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anne & Bland Brooks of Rochelle, GA, and Toni Rush of Buena Vista, GA; and by several Nieces and Nephews.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these arrangements.
