Johnny Wilson

     Mr. Johnny Wilson, 73, of Americus, GA passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his residence.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2019 at 9:00 AM in the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating.

     Mr. Wilson was born December 5, 1946 in Sumter County to the late J W and Ernestine Wilson. He had been the owner of Wilson Automotive in Americus, GA.  Mr. Wilson enjoyed many activities including gardening, hunting, fishing, racing and cooking. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.  Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Wilson and a grandson, Joshua Underwood.

     Survivors include two daughters, Terri Daniels and husband, Toby Douglas Daniels of Americus and Michelle Underwood and husband, Robbie Underwood of Ellaville; two brothers, David Wilson and wife Jean of Lawrenceville, GA, Mark Wilson of Albany, GA; three sisters, Velma Welch and husband Jackie of Americus, GA,  Brenda Williams of Eufaula, AL, and Beverly Cromer of Americus, GA.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jake McCook and fiancé, Lauren Barfield, Blake Williamson and wife Tiffany, Ben Williamson and wife Crystal, and two great grandchildren, Tyler Williamson and Alex Underwood.

     The family asks that memorials be made the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd, Americus, GA 31719 or Pruitt Health Hospice, 708 East 16th Ave., Cordele, GA  31015.
